Does your team need to be more connected?

Are you BUiLDING a new team? want to set the tone for great cooperation?

Are you looking to build a more collaborative culture?

Do you have something big to celebrate as a team?

I can help!

Hi, my name is Paul Houle and I’m founder of BOOM! The Power of Rhythm! A company that offers powerful & dynamic team building programs that bring corporate teams to a new level of connectedness.

Hundreds of companies just like yours have benefited from my team building programs since 1998.

I’m a combination of musician, conductor and a team building speaker and I draw from each of these worlds to offer your team a really fun and productive interactive experience.

One where they will become more unified through the lessons that come from playing music as group. Your team will be provided with hand drums and percussion instruments to play, but my program is not really about drumming. It’s about knowing how to really listen to one another. It’s about how to take what you do and connect it with the people you’re working with to achieve a great outcome. The same thing you have to do at work.

The participants in my programs experience the same incredible level of connection that great musicians experience when they perform on stage together. It’s a visceral experience that allows them to profoundly understand how important they are to each other to achieve success.

If you believe music has the power to bring people together then let’s talk!

WHen it comes to Team Building activities,

this Program will connect your team like never before!

“Team building maestro” says it all! He got everyone paying attention, concentrating, watching and listening to each other and eventually working together as one team. It was magical.

LISTEN. COLLABORATE. Respectfully Negotiate

THe musicians’ secret to optimum team performance

What do musicians do more than anything else? They listen! And that listening is the key to everything else they do as they work towards becoming as connected as possible.

This team building program takes people deep into the world of how to listen to build connections with those they’re working with. It allows them to experience the collaboration that can arise from having a constant awareness of how what they’re doing is connected with others.

Once that awareness is solid, people can begin the art of respectful negotiation that has to take place to order for one to meld their talents with the talents of others.

Team Building during Change

THings about change that never change

When change comes into our life our anxiety acts like a magnifying glass.  It magnifies all the possible things we are worried about. It takes over our thoughts throughout the day (and the night).  We are full of what if's and maybe still thinking about the “why?”  And some of us may be stuck on "I can't", when can't isn't an option.

Paul's powerful team building presentation on change will show your team that despite the change going on around them there's lots they can hang on to.  Lots that can make the transition easier and successful. You may not be able to bring it all with you but there are lots things about change that won't change.

You captured the interest of every person in the room. Who needs coffee in the morning when Paul is around! Thank you for such a great presentation and for a wonderful experience!

Team Building to Build Trust

How to build trust among your co-workers and leaders

Every action we take with someone either builds on that trust, maintains trust or takes away from it.

You can't just say "trust me" . Trust is built over time through words and actions.  It's a slow process that has to be handled with care. But once you have it incredible things can happen.  People can go where they never thought possible.  Risk, all of the sudden, doesn't seem so big.  Trust can make you comfortable with the uncomfortable.

This fascinating team building presentation shows you how to build trust and how to harness its incredible power. It demonstrates that trust is built over time through words and actions. It shows you that once you have trust people will more open to your ideas and your vision and achieve more than they originally thought possible.

Attendees Will Learn:

The powerful impact that occurs to build mind-trust and connectivity to others on a whole new level makes his program one of the most memorable in my experience.
— Halsall Engineers
  • the importance of listening to build trust

  • the importance of putting yourself out there to build trust

  • what to do to build trust

  • how to use what you already know to build trust

Best audience: any group that needs to rely on each other to reach a goal

Program Length: 60 to 90 Minutes

Team Building BREAK OUT SESSION

CREATE. PERFORM. REMEMBER

Developing passion, identity and vision for your team.

Do you have an organization made up of many small teams? Could those teams be more unified? Would it be helpful if the team had a stronger sense of identity?  Would it be helpful if they could come up their own vision for their success?

Paul's team building breakout session does all that and is fun, challenging and extremely productive.  Your people will be out of their comfort zones and given the chance to think deeply about who they are and what they can accomplish together.

How it works -

  • First your whole group meets together and participates in an introductory activity to set the tone.

  • Then they are divided up into their separate teams and given a challenge. (The exact nature of this challenge will be decided through our consultation with you).

  • Paul will coach and advise them as they work together in their separate areas,.

  • After a suitable amount of creative time they will come back and present what they've come up with to their peers.  As well, they will explain their thinking and their process for all to benefit from.

  • It’s fun & entertaining but extremely powerful

for the people in your organization.

QHN.CA has brought in Paul for a wide range of applications - ice breaker, team building, change mastery, problem solving. We highly recommend Paul for an innovative and enjoyable experience.
